Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer in Santa Clara, CA to lead AI prototype development and validation. You will build working demos using Gemini APIs, Vertex AI, and Google Cloud, translating technical results into clear business value for customers and partners.

You will own end-to-end technical validation across deal cycles, craft lightweight integrations, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive customer progression.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years total experience, incl. 3–5 years in AI.
• Experience building prototypes, integrations, or solution accelerators.
• Experience with Gemini APIs, Vertex AI, Google Cloud, prompt engineering.
• Ability to translate technical validation into business value.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or CS.

Responsibilities

• Build working prototypes, proof points, and multi-modal demonstrations using Gemini APIs, Vertex AI, and Google Cloud.
• Develop agentic workflows and lightweight integrations to validate technical feasibility for customer-specific scenarios.
• Own technical validation across deal cycles by rapidly translating Gemini Enterprise capabilities into deployable prototype outcomes.
• Apply prompt engineering and Google Gemini ADK to improve prototype quality, usability, and business relevance.
• Translate prototype outcomes into value narratives that support decision-making and accelerate customer progression.

• Strong hands-on engineering skills with experience building prototypes, integrations, or solution accelerators using cloud and API-based technologies.
• Experience with Gemini APIs, Vertex AI, Google Cloud, prompt engineering, or similar AI application environments.
• Ability to develop agentic workflows, lightweight integrations, and multi-modal demonstrations for customer or partner scenarios.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to connect technical validation to business value.
• Total experience: 5 to 7 years, including 3 to 5 years of AI experience, with strong written and spoken English.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Google Professional ML Engineer certification is preferred.
• Gemini Enterprise Partner Certification preferred.
• Google Associate Cloud Engineer certification preferred.
• Applied analytics experience and the ability to convert prototype outcomes into clear value narratives are preferred.
