Job summary

Pivot Bio, headquartered in Minnetonka, MN, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with leaders across the company, driving planning, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis. You will translate data into actionable insights to improve budget accuracy and support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities include annual budget and quarterly forecast preparation, monthly variance analyses, and enhancing FP&A systems and dashboards.

Qualifications

5 years FP&A business partner, management consulting, or equivalent experience with increasing levels of responsibility (exposure to R&D/Product Innovation & Corporate Finance functions preferred)
Knowledge of ERP systems and associated planning and reporting tools (Netsuite and Adaptive preferred)
Power BI/Tableau experience a plus
Experience leveraging AI capabilities to drive efficiency a plus
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA a plus

Responsibilities

Partner with various business leaders to align corporate, departmental, and financial goals; enable value-added insight through analysis and reporting
Support the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecast for responsible departments and monthly budget-to-actual reporting
Provide analytical, strategic, and other business operations support for responsible departments and the overall organization to enable their success
Contribute to the upgrade, development and implementation of core systems and processes, including FP&A software and dashboard tools

About Pivot Bio

The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A will serve as a key finance business partner, supporting company-wide planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. This role will partner with business leaders to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights, strengthen budget and forecast accuracy, and support decision-making across corporate functions. The position will also contribute to continued improvement of FP&A systems, reporting tools, and processes to enable timely, accurate, and scalable financial support for the organization.

Essential Functions

Competencies

Broad knowledge of ERP functions/capabilities/tools in order to perform planning and reporting activities in a timely, accurate, and complete manner
Conceptual and practical experience with planning and forecasting, financial analysis, operational analysis, performance analysis, and financial reporting to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial statements and processes

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have direct reports

Standard office environment
Officed out of Minnetonka, MN Headquarters

Travel Required

This position will require travel less than 5% of time

Required Education And Experience
