AutoNation is seeking a Senior Financial Benefits Analyst to drive end‑to‑end financial activities for employee benefits including health, welfare, retirement plans, and related compliance. You’ll build automated tools, analyze trends, and support audits and regulatory filings while partnering with Benefits Operations, Payroll, IT and Finance teams to improve processes across the Total Rewards function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–5+ years progressive experience in accounting, analytics, or financial analysis.
• Experience integrating AI tools into business processes preferred.

• Review reserve estimates, accruals and accounting transactions.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to join the AutoNation Finance Team while gaining broad exposure to AutoNation Operations and the Benefits function. The Senior Financial Benefits Analyst is a creative, self directed professional with strong data and analytical skills who supports end to end financial activities for employee benefits, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans (401(k) and Deferred Compensation), and related compliance and reporting requirements.This role assists with workflow design and automation surrounding benefits related accounting, financial analysis, and data analytics, while also supporting retirement plan administration and vendor oversight. The analyst partners closely with Benefits Operations, Payroll, IT, Corporate Finance, third party administrators, recordkeepers, and external auditors to help analyze trends to support the business, ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls, and execute continuous process improvement.At this time, we are not considering applicants who require employment authorization sponsorship (1) as a condition of eligibility for employment with the Company or (2) at any point during the term of their employment.
