Job Overview

Sr. Financial Analyst – support procurement operations by optimizing sourcing strategies and financial performance.

Location

Atlanta, GA – Hybrid (Rheem Enterprise Office)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a financial business partner to the Procurement organization.
• Analyze sourcing and procurement data to identify cost‑saving opportunities, risks, and trends.
• Track net sourcing productivity and forecast impact from commodity price index fluctuations.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, finance, and operations teams to support supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Perform weekly reviews of purchase and invoice price variances, surcharge accruals, and supplier performance metrics.
• Develop financial models and forecasts related to sourcing activities aligned with budget and financial goals.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on sourcing performance and financial impact.
• Partner on special projects, key business initiatives, and supplier proposals, providing financial analysis to inform objective decision‑making.
• Participate and support the annual cost roll process.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing processes and supplier collaboration.
• Perform other ad‑hoc projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with preparation of business cases and investment ROI analysis.
• Strong business acumen, accounting and finance fundamentals.
• Experience building and maintaining complex financial models and evaluating alternative financial scenarios.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
• Excellent relationship building skills with cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and innovate with all levels of the organization.
• High level of integrity, trust, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and analytical platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a multi‑plant, high‑mix manufacturing environment (HVAC or water heating industry is a plus).
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
