General Mills, headquartered just outside Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to support North America Treasury Operations. You will help secure capital, manage cash flows and monitor financial risks for the region.

You will build cash forecasts, manage funding, and collaborate on strategic projects including debt activities, M&A support and treasury optimization with international teams. Strong analytical skills and SAP experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of finance or treasury experience.
• Solid understanding of cash management, banking, debt instruments and derivatives.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities; attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily funding of bank accounts, issue Commercial Paper and invest excess cash.
• Build and maintain long-term cash forecasts with inputs from multiple sources.
• Remediate failed payments and guard against fraud attempts.
• Lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment and improve processes.
• Liaise with banks for services and partner with global treasury teams on initiatives.
• Support bond offerings, share repurchases, restructurings and M&A activity.

At General Mills, the Treasury team creates shareholder value by optimizing GMI’s capital structure while flawlessly executing its fiduciary responsibilities. This includes efficiently managing cash flows, managing interest rate and foreign exchange risk, and protecting GMI’s financial assets. Treasury roles are highly technical and build strong knowledge of financial markets and cash management.The Senior Treasury Analyst plays a key role supporting the function by securing capital to fund business operations, executing on cash management activities, handling bank relationships and monitoring financial risks for the North America region. This role also supports strategic corporate projects and partners with our treasury centers across the globe.In this role, you will gain extensive experience in treasury operations and broad exposure to external banking partners and financial markets.
