T-Mobile is seeking a Sr. Field Technician to lead technical efforts across radio access networks, backhaul, and disaster recovery. You will mentor technicians, drive outages resolution, and push for continuous improvements in operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, project execution, and developing a high-performing field team to ensure a reliable, industry-leading network for customers daily.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Vocational/Technical Training or related field preferred
  • 4-7 years working experience in Field Operations and maintenance (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Wireless telecommunications or other related experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical direction and support to improve network performance and resolve outages within and beyond the immediate team
  • Lead key projects and initiatives, guiding junior technicians and reporting progress and challenges effectively
  • Identify and develop process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities, recommending implementation to management
  • Create training materials and facilitate training sessions to maintain and enhance team technical skills and knowledge
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

The Sr. Field Technician provides advanced support across radio access networks, backhaul, disaster recovery, data services, and location-based services, ensuring our network remains resilient and customer-ready. Job Responsibilities:

Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Working experience in Field Operations and maintenance (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Wireless telecommunications or other related experience. (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Radio Frequency Engineering (Required)
  • Nokia RAN equipment and Ceragon Microwave Equipment experience (Required)
  • Electronics (Required)
  • Expert operational knowledge and theory of all interconnecting circuits to include but not limited to RF transmitters, antenna systems, AAV, fiber, microwave radio and AC-DC power systems, and AI.
  • Problem Solving / Troubleshooting - Solves problems using creativity and innovation. (Required)
  • Computer Fluency with ability to use programs such as Microsoft Office Suite (Required)
  • Communication (Required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention To Detail (Required)
  • Self-motivated; exhibits initiative in achieving company goals and objectives.
  • Leadership skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.

  • Flexible hours are a must. Day and night work is part of the job, as well as being part of an on-call rotation for the market, which includes weekends and holidays.

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $69,166 - $124,765National Base Pay Range: $30.23 - $54.53
