Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior Facilities Representative to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of our facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and coordinate repairs to keep a safe, compliant environment for employees and operations.

You will work with vendors, manage work orders in our CMMS, and participate in facility improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting commercial building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and facility repairs.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Experience managing work orders, maintenance requests, or facility service tickets.

Responsibilities

About The Role

McKesson is seeking a Senior Facilities Representative to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of our facilities. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, coordinate repairs, and help ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient environment for employees and business operations. This position requires a strong working knowledge of commercial building systems and the ability to independently resolve moderately complex maintenance issues.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building infrastructure.
• Respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot facility issues, and complete repairs to support safe and efficient building operations.
• Conduct routine facility inspections, identify maintenance or safety concerns, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors while maintaining accurate work orders, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
• Support facility operations through office moves, equipment installations, building improvement projects, security monitoring, and seasonal maintenance activities.

Basic Requirements

• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting commercial building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and facility repairs.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Experience managing work orders, maintenance requests, or facility service tickets.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, schematics, or equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Trade certification or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience working in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, or large commercial environments.
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and facility monitoring systems.
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and third-party service providers.
• Familiarity with OSHA and workplace safety practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements

• Primarily onsite role supporting facility operations.
• May require occasional local travel between facilities or vendor locations.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work around mechanical equipment and facility infrastructure while following established safety procedures.
