Job summary

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Sr. Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations supporting office and manufacturing facilities, including maintenance, inspections, and site projects.

This role focuses on building systems, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal site performance. As a senior member of the facilities team, you will lead maintenance staff, coordinate contractors, manage safety programs, and drive improvements across the site’s buildings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5–7 years facilities management experience, with manufacturing maintenance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Experience managing contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repair and routine maintenance on facilities and equipment (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Plan, budget, and schedule facilities modifications with cost estimates and contracts.
• Manage facilities staff and ensure continuous service.
• Coordinate contractors and vendor negotiations; monitor performance and compliance.
• Oversee safety activities, training, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead investigations for injuries and near-misses; prepare reports.
• Maintain professional conduct in dealings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Inspect and maintain fire protection systems; track/work orders to closure.

Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is looking for a seasoned Sr. Facilities Manager to manage the daily activities required to support office/manufacturing operations and support buildings. As a senior member of our facilities team, you will be focusing on providing site support to all facets of the site facilities' requirements relating to building and equipment repair, preventive maintenance, inspections, and various site activities as requested.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate repair/routine maintenance on facilities and equipment including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, air compressors, Waste treatment, janitorial activity, and tasks relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the buildings
• Responsible for planning, budgeting, and scheduling facilities modifications. This includes cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction
• Manage facilities and equipment maintenance staff and ensure continuous service
• Participate in the selection of contractors and sub-contractors, vendor negotiation of service agreements and day-today monitoring of vendor performance to assure full compliance with standards established within the service agreement
• Coordinate all departmental safety activity, including training, assuring that all environmental and safety requirements are attained
• Lead injury and near-miss accidents investigations to minimize recurrence and to prepare accident reports. Coordinates accident investigations and criminal act investigations occurring on company property
• Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the companys policies and practices
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspection of fire protection system
• Tracking and assigning facilities work orders until closure

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5 – 7 years facilities management experience as well as a technical background in facilities management and manufacturing maintenance preferred
• Strong working knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
• Must have extensive experience managing contractors and sub contractors
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to creatively develop and implement approved maintenance solutions to improve equipment performance
• Knowledge and experience to support the day to day operation as well as the multitude of projects that are performed throughout the year
