Central to this mission is our semiconductor fabrication clean room, where microfabrication processes are used to produce superconducting qubit chips. We are seeking a Senior Safety Engineer to own and drive the safety program for our fabrication facility, ensuring world-class safety performance while enabling rapid innovation and production throughput.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you will be the single-threaded owner of safety across all clean room operations — from chemical handling and hazardous gas systems to tool safety interlocks and emergency response. You will partner closely with process engineers, equipment engineers, facilities teams, and leadership to embed a culture of safety that scales with our growing fabrication capabilities.

In this role, you won't just be maintaining safety — you'll be building the safety framework for a first-of-its-kind quantum device fabrication facility. This is a rare opportunity to shape safety culture from the ground up in an environment where world-class science meets world-class engineering. Your work will directly enable the teams pushing the boundaries of quantum computing.
