Job summary

SkyWater Technology, Inc. seeks a Fab Operations Technician/ Clean Room Technician to produce high-quality semiconductor products in a controlled environment.

You will operate machines, load wafer production equipment, and follow detailed procedures to ensure correct manufacturing steps. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and precise gowning in a cleanroom, with a Sunday–Tuesday shift and every other Wednesday from 6:55 am to 7:10 pm.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and desire to learn and grow.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Effective organizational and planning skills.
• Previous semiconductor industry or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Operate assigned machines in a cleanroom environment.
• Load and unload wafer production machines (microchips).
• Follow detailed instructions to ensure correct procedures are completed.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products.
• Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Excellence, Collaboration, Empowerment and Growth Mindset.
• Ensure proper gowning procedures and safety standards are being followed at all times in the area.
• Maintain and communicate in a positive attitude.
• Be punctual to ensure crisp pass downs between shifts.
• The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.
