Target is seeking a Senior Program Owner – Wastewater Programs to lead enterprise wastewater compliance and permitting initiatives. The role oversees strategy, execution, and continuous improvement across a distributed portfolio of facilities, ensuring regulatory alignment and risk reduction.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Clean Water Act, experience with inspections, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable guidance for internal partners.
The pay range is $73,000.00 - $132,000.00

A role in Environmental Compliance and Ethics means working in an area that will support efforts to identify, prioritize, and minimize areas of risk for Target Stores, Supply Chain, and Headquarters facilities.
In this role, you will be the enterprise owner for Target’s wastewater compliance programs, responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local wastewater quality regulations across a large, distributed portfolio of facilities. You’ll lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of wastewater permitting, reporting, and inspection readiness, while partnering closely with internal teams, consultants, and regulators to support operational excellence and Target’s sustainability goals.
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
