Vishay Dale, Yankton, SD, is seeking a Full-time Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Administrator to support and maintain EHS policies and ensure regulatory compliance at the site. The role covers safety training, incident investigations, and ISO standards implementation on-site in Yankton, SD.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3–5 years EHS experience, and proficiency with MS Office. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • HAZWOP and forklift training completed; 3–5 years EHS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Incident investigation and reporting, including root cause analysis and implementation of changes.
  • Cultivate and continuously improve safety culture through implementation and education of policies and standards.
  • Maintain all applicable procedures, processes, and programs related to EHS and compliance in relation to all state and federal statutes.
  • Assist with record keeping, presentation, and evaluation of EHS records and key performance indicators (incident log, utilities, etc).
  • Help evaluate, implement, and maintain ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
  • Plant leader in the implementation of workplace ergonomics, safety and program solutions.
  • Act as site first responder and member of safety committee.
  • Facilitate training related to EHS matters.
  • Maintain safety related records.
  • Manages the hazardous waste program (compliance, reporting, emergency response).
  • Acts as “Safety Chief” for monthly safety meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Vishay Dale, Yankton, South Dakota, is currently seeking a Full-time Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Administrator (EHS) responsible for supporting and maintaining EHS policies within the designated site(s) to ensuring compliance within organizational as well as local, state, and federal regulations. Provide support for maintaining safe and healthy working conditions and administer/maintain safety training for employees with minimal supervision. Job Location: This position is located on-site Yankton, SD. We are situated in Southeast South Dakota: on the banks of the Missouri River and minutes from Lewis and Clark Lake where you can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities. What you will bring along
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
  • Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, including ability to present in front of others.
  • Annual HAZWOP training, forklift training 3-5 years EHS experience preferred
