Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Puerto Rico is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to build and lead the Security Management Software team, supporting cloud and on‑prem deployments.

The role requires an experienced leader who can scale the organization, hire top talent, and drive collaboration across geographically distributed teams while delivering secure, innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of people management experience leading software engineering teams within a product development organization.
• Experience building cloud-based products utilizing microservices architectures.
• Strong knowledge of cloud applications, platforms, and technologies.
• Proven success leading and influencing cross-functional teams across multiple geographic regions.
• Demonstrated experience managing diverse, multicultural teams with an inclusive leadership style.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to build and lead a high-performing software development team while serving as the site leader for the Security Management Engineering organization in Puerto Rico.

In this role, you will lead the development of security management software supporting both cloud and on-premises deployments. You will play a key role in scaling the organization, developing talent, and collaborating with globally distributed teams to deliver innovative security solutions.
