Job summary

Wayne Fueling Systems LLC in Lombard, IL seeks a senior full-stack engineer to design and build scalable web apps using ReactJS/AngularJS and Node.js/.NET. This hybrid role combines 4 days in office with 1 day work from home per week.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop APIs, microservices, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure), while emphasizing code quality, security, and performance with CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of full‑stack software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and/or AngularJS.
• Strong back-end development experience with Node.js and/or C# (.NET/.NET Core).
• Experience building APIs, microservices, and integrating databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Working knowledge of DevOps concepts: CI/CD, source control, build/release pipelines.
• Practical exposure to cloud services in AWS and Azure.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps (VSTS) and GitHub.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement secure coding practices and ensure application reliability and performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Support cloud deployments and infrastructure integration across AWS and Azure.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies using tools such as GitHub, Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to development standards.

The ideal candidate will build scalable web applications, contribute to cloud-native deployments, and collaborate across product and engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation).
• Exposure monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK, etc.).
• Experience with authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).
• Domain exposure to fuel dispensers/payment/POS systems is a plus.
