Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY is seeking a Sr Engineer RF Technology to lead RF process integration development, coordinating across FEOL/BEOL flows to deliver high-yield, reliable RF devices and cost-effective production solutions.

You will collaborate with process engineering, yield, and manufacturing teams, evaluate new tools and materials, maintain rigorous documentation, and drive continuous improvement projects to meet quality and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in manufacturing or related engineering roles.
• Experience delivering advanced technology for mass production in manufacturing.
• FEOL/BEOL process with FinFET and RFSOI understanding.
• Structured problem solving and Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
• Cross-functional collaboration to achieve integrated results.

Summary of Role:

RF Technology process integration development: Integrating various components and technologies into the final product, ensuring that the end result meets quality and performance standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

RF Technology process integration development: Integrating various components and technologies into the final product, ensuring that the end result meets quality and performance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate different process modules into a cohesive semiconductor manufacturing flow. Identify and resolve integration-related issues that may arise during the development and production phases. Continuously work towards optimizing the integration process to improve yield, performance, and cost-effectiveness. This involves evaluating new tools, materials, and techniques. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to integration processes. Generate reports to track progress and communicate results to relevant stakeholders. Work on customer specific requests and continuous improvement projects for yield. Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure that integrated components meet established standards and specifications. Effectively communicate with different departments within the company, including process engineering, yield engineering, customer engineering and manufacturing, to ensure smooth integration processes.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education – B Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science a related field, or a foreign equivalent.
• Experience - 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering related job titles. 2 years of experience required in:
• developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production in manufacturing
• project management focused on managing schedules, scope and cost trade-offs of manufacturing projects
• FEOL/BEOL process with FinFET and RFSOI technology
• structured problem solving and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve integrated and optimized results.
