Tecomet, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer to assist in designing and developing new products, sustaining existing lines, and supporting production with robust dies, tooling, and fixtures.
You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of high-quality products while adhering to Tecomet’s continuous improvement culture. The role requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical, biomedical, or design engineering, plus 5 years in drafting and tool design.
The Senior Product Design Engineer is responsible for assistance in the design and development of new products, sustaining existing products, including reviewing product designs, creating solid models, and detailing prints. This person will work under minimal supervision and interface with internal departments both local and corporate, customers, vendors, and 3rd party partners, all of which are essential to achieving the organization’s goal of on‑time in‑full production delivery and high‑quality products. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer‑driven innovation and a win‑first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.
