GlobalFoundries in Essex Junction, VT is seeking a Sr Process Engineer to own, sustain, and improve RIE processes in a fully onsite, Monday–Friday role. The position emphasizes design of experiments, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with maintenance, process, and equipment teams.

The role requires a BS in a related field, 2–3 years of semiconductor experience (4+ preferred), and strong understanding of SPC/DOE. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering discipline.
• 2–3 years of semiconductor experience or relevant technical manufacturing experience.
• Fluency in English language - written & verbal.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate daily with maintenance technicians, process technicians, and equipment engineers to meet production demands.
• Design and execute experiments to perform root cause understanding.
• Drive continuous improvement for throughput, cost reduction, and yield learning.
• Lead process qualifications for new tools and processes and implement process control plans.
• Support cross functional problem solving with facilities, maintenance and equipment engineering.
• Create, execute and improve standard work.
• Partner with integration, equipment, and quality engineering teams to support development of new technologies.
• Communicate and collaborate with co-workers within and outside the department.
