CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a senior backend engineer to join the cloud authentication and authorization platform. You will design and scale services handling authN/authZ for internal and external users, working with Go, AWS, Kafka and GraphQL to process huge data and decisions per day.

You’ll collaborate across teams, mentor peers, and push for robust, scalable architectures while contributing to open source and staying at the forefront of AI-driven security. Hybrid onsite 2–3 days.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems.
• 12+ years of backend development experience.
• The ability to scale backend systems – sharding, partitioning, scaling horizontally are second nature to you.

About The Role:

You’ll be joining the cloud backend team in the Platform product group responsible for authentication and authorization. The Auth team is responsible for both internal (e.g. Service-to-service authorization, etc.) and external (e.g. user login, etc) authN and authZ. The team is a critical part of cloud, frequently working collaboratively with many other product groups. The team builds and extends services that are capable of making 1+ trillion decisions per day!

Bring your experience in distributed technologies and algorithms, your great API and systems design sensibilities, and your passion for writing code that performs at extreme scale. You will help build a platform that scales to millions of events per second and Terabytes of data per day. • Degree in Computer Science (or commensurate experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems)

• The ability to scale backend systems – sharding, partitioning, scaling horizontally are second nature to you

• Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges
• Deep understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies
• Team player skills – we embrace collaborating as a team as much as possible
• A thorough understanding of engineering best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architecture
• The ability to thrive in a fast paced, test-driven, collaborative and iterative programming environment
• The skills to meet your commitments on time and produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
