Job summary

A leading provider of fuel dispensing solutions is seeking a Sr Engineer, Electronics to support the engineering of products for alternative fuels and electric vehicles. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and testing electronic components, as well as ownership of high voltage electrical designs. Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience. The position offers onsite work and eligibility for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Experience in troubleshooting and embedded systems preferred.
  • Experience with software development and PDM systems.

Job description

Overall Scope

The Sr Engineer, Electronics will support engineering for our products for alternative fuels and electric vehicles. You will be part of a global team that designs and implements new solutions for electric vehicle chargers and fuel dispensers.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implementation and testing of electronic components and subsystem to be used around the world.
  • Being able to take ownership of High voltage electrical designs (<1000VDC/<1500A) and Electronic-PCBA development.
  • Take ownership of testing (specification and performing) and release procedures.
  • Provide full Technical Documentation Package for all developments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor or Master of Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical (BSC/MSc level). Relevant work experience strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience
  • Experience in high voltage/power design
  • Experience in troubleshooting
  • Experience with Micro-controller environments and embedded systems preferred
  • Experience in software development preferred
  • Experience to work in PDM systems
  • Experience in electronical CAD (Altium, Orcad)
  • Knowledge in mechanical CAD (Solidworks)
  • Knowledge of Labview preferred
  • Experience within safety and metrological standards such as ATEX, UL, IECEx, MID, OIML, Inmetro and NOM preferred

  • Open to working in an international team with different disciplines, e.g. application developments, hydraulics, certification, etc. (colleagues located in EMEA, US, Latin America, China and India)
