Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Embedded Flight Software Engineer in Palo Alto, CA or Houston, TX.

You will design and implement software for embedded RTOS, develop architectures, requirements, and interfaces for flight software, and create verification plans with unit tests to ensure requirements are met. Responsibilities include software lifecycle management, tooling, and serving as SME for software domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
• Embedded C++ programming skills and RTOS familiarity.

Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.* Minimum of 8 years of software development experience* Embedded C++ programming skills* Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle* Software version control **Preferred Requirements:*** RTOS experience (ex. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $124,000.00 - $206,000.00 annually.● The base pay for this position within New Jersey is: $124,000.00 - $206,000.00 annually.● The base pay for this position within Delaware is: $124,000.00 - $206,000.00 annually.● The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $137,000.00 - $228,000.00 annually.● The base pay for this position within California is: $143,000.00 - $238,000.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
