Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ, seeks an Electrical Depot Hardware Lead to provide technical oversight for a missile production program. You will mentor a cross-functional team, prioritize work with program leads, and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to resolve production issues.

Relocation is available; 1st shift with travel under 10% annually. Required DoD Secret clearance and a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience with RF/analog/digital/mixed-signal circuit design or analysis and DSP.
  • Proven experience leading a technical project or root-cause investigations.
  • Experience communicating technically with customers and updating data packages.

Raytheon’s Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle. Providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities of our Land and Naval based electrical products. What You Will Do
  • Function as an Electrical Depot Hardware Lead on Missile Production Program

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years’ prior relevant experience
  • Relevant experience with any of the following: RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing, debugging, failure investigations.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a technical project and/or failure investigation root cause corrective action
  • Experience with professional technical communication and collaboration with internal and external customers, Relevant experience with updating and presenting technical data package documentation
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Production process knowledge of Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystems; including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test, and supplier/sub-tier supplier support.
  • Knowledge of RF / microwave devices preferred.
  • Prior customer-interfacing roles
  • Familiar with Agile program management methodology
  • Familiar with Depot program lifecycle
  • Effective organization, emotional intelligence, etc.
  • Systems thinking, strong problem solving in alignment with the Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE).
  • Experience with CCA design, subsystems integration and test, problem investigation, technical writing, formal presentation, and implementing Engineering Change Notices.
  • Experience working with an international supply base and export and import policies.
  • Leadership of technical teams, including technical oversight and direction, cross-functional coordination, preparation of detailed technical reports, and design review development and presentation.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
