This role will lead the day-to-day implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security/Emergency Response programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. As the EHS&S Specialist with expertise in chemical safety and Industrial Hygiene, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of critical health, safety, and hazardous materials (chemical and biological) safety programs to mitigate key risks to the site. This position will serve as the primary site SME for chemical safety and Industrial Hygiene, including the development and oversight of the future Hazardous Materials Emergency Response team. Additionally, you will support the site and assigned value streams in general/industrial safety needs, championing EHS principles across the site and collaborating with management and staff to continuously enhance EHS performance. You will partner with site and regional teams to keep people safe and protect the environment. You will lead EHS assessments, guide risk reduction plans, and support compliance with laws and company standards.
