Job summary

Nearterm Corporation in Colorado is seeking a Senior Director of Provider Contracting within a large health system. The role focuses on developing and implementing contracts for facility and professional services with providers contracted through the Health System Medical Plan.

You will lead negotiations on payment terms based on fee-for-service, value-based models, and risk-sharing arrangements, ensuring compliance with laws and policies while aligning with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations with providers to include payment terms based on multiple reimbursement models, including feefor-service, value-based payments, and gain/risk sharing arrangements.
• Negotiate contract language that aligns with State and Federal laws/regulations and organizational policies.
• Develop practices consistent with the mission and vision of Health System Medical Plan.
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare industry trends and market related to provider contracting and network administration.

• Role reports to CFO, the Senior Director of Provider Contracting is responsible for develop and implementing new and established contracts for facility and professional agreements with providers on behalf of Health System Medical Plan including new programs and services. This role will lead negotiations with providers to include payment terms based on multiple reimbursement models, including feefor-service payment terms, valued based payments, and gain/risk sharing arrangements.
• The Senior Director will be accountable for negotiating contract language that aligns with all State and Federal laws/regulations and organizational policies. This position will be responsible for development of practices consistent with the mission and vision of Health System Medical Plan
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry trends, standards and current events realative to provider contracting and network administration and market.
