Job description

The Sr Director, Product Development and Integration will lead the strategy and execution needed to translate our North Star vision into an integrated product development roadmap, connected cross-functional delivery plans, and scalable business capabilities. This leader will provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership across product development, enterprise integration, business requirements, capability sequencing, dependency management, cross-functional solution alignment, implementation readiness, and product support transition planning. The role requires strong people leadership, executive presence, product and operational expertise, disciplined execution, and the ability to connect complex business needs, technology capabilities, regulatory requirements, and operational impacts into clear, actionable plans that accelerate delivery and support successful adoption of the new adjudication platform.

Core Responsibilities Lead and develop teams accountable for product development and integration of newly acquired adjudication technology, including product strategy, capability planning, business requirement development, solution alignment, delivery sequencing, and cross-functional dependency management. Set strategic direction, priorities, and operating rhythms for product development, integration, implementation planning, business product ownership, and product support readiness workstreams. Partner with senior leaders across business, operations, BPO, technology, architecture, implementation, product support, legal/compliance, regulatory, client teams, and service functions to align on product scope, integration needs, risks, dependencies, and delivery decisions. Oversee development of business requirements, capability definitions, feature decomposition, acceptance criteria, process impacts, integration requirements, and traceability needed to support technology development and business validation. Drive product roadmap alignment by translating North Star capabilities, business priorities, regulatory needs, operational requirements, and implementation timelines into actionable delivery plans. Lead enterprise integration planning across impacted platforms, downstream processes, operational teams, client migration activities, data needs, reporting, controls, and support models. Ensure product decisions are grounded in business value, operational feasibility, compliance needs, technology dependencies, client impacts, and long-term scalability. Track delivery progress, requirement readiness, integration risks, open decisions, cross-team dependencies, product support needs, and action follow-up; elevate blockers with clear recommendations. Partner with change management, communications, training, implementation, and support teams to ensure product development plans are connected to readiness, go‑live, stabilization, and adoption activities. Create an environment where product, business, and technology teams have clarity on outcomes, priorities, dependencies, and decision rights while maintaining delivery speed and minimizing disruption to day‑to‑day operations.

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree referred.
  • 8+ years of professional experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams through product development, business product ownership, enterprise integration, technology enablement, operational transformation, large‑scale implementation, or platform modernization programs required.
  • Proven ability to build, coach, and motivate high‑performing teams while creating accountability, clarity, and strong cross‑functional collaboration preferred.
  • Experience developing product strategies, capability roadmaps, business requirements, feature backlogs, acceptance criteria, dependency plans, delivery scorecards, and readiness measures preferred.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex product, integration, and technology topics into clear, practical guidance for senior leaders, business partners, and delivery teams required.
  • Experience partnering with technology, architecture, operations, implementation, product support, compliance, regulatory, and client‑facing teams to align on product scope, delivery sequencing, integration needs, and operational readiness preferred.
  • Understanding of PBM workflows, claims adjudication, benefit setup, pricing, client configuration, operational controls, downstream integration, product support, or healthcare operations preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams, workstreams, dependencies, timelines, issues, and stakeholders in a fast‑paced, highly matrixed environment required.
  • Comfort leading through ambiguity, making decisions with incomplete information, escalating risks, and driving alignment across competing priorities preferred.
