Job summary

Oracle is seeking a senior executive to lead the Data Center Site Portfolio Management across multiple regions. You will define global performance targets, oversee capacity and asset lifecycle, and drive automation initiatives to improve uptime and efficiency.

Responsibilities include expanding regional sites, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and delivering on time and budget while ensuring security and scalability of hardware assets.

  • Data Center Site Portfolio Management: oversight of very large sites across multiple regions/countries to ensure alignment with strategy.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis: define enterprise monitoring, KPI alignment, and global uptime targets; capacity planning for physical, power, cooling, and security.
  • Issue Management and Automation: drive automation and predictive analytics; establish crisis management and continuous improvement standards.
  • Data Center Expansion Support: lead expansion initiatives, regional collaboration, and vendor partnerships to meet milestones and budget.
  • Installation and Maintenance: oversee installation, maintenance, logistics, and lifecycle management of hardware assets across portfolios; approve investments.
  • Planning & Execution: provide strategic oversight for large-scale projects, timelines, budgets, and resource planning.
  • Collaboration & Partnership: drive cross-functional teamwork and stakeholder alignment; foster transparent, inclusive culture.

Oversees capacity evaluations for physical, power, cooling, and security needs to ensure readiness and operational excellence, and partners with executive leadership on long‑term operational and financial targets. Drives the adoption of automation and predictive analytics, establish crisis management and process improvement standards, and promote a culture of knowledge sharing and compliance. Leads major expansion initiatives, serves as the senior executive liaison across regions, develops partnerships, and manages the full lifecycle of hardware assets—overseeing installations, maintenance, and procurement, approving large investments, and directing audits to optimize efficiency, security, and scalability.

Data Center Site Portfolio Management:

  • Defines the enterprise strategy for performance monitoring for all data centers in group, aligning KPIs and organizational objectives to drive efficiency, uptime, and customer satisfaction at a global scale.
  • Oversees the evaluation of physical, power, cooling, and security capacity, ensuring future‑readiness and sustained operational excellence.
  • Partners with executive leadership to set and achieve multi‑year operational and financial targets for the group.
Issue Management and Automation:
  • Drives the adoption of automation and predictive analytics for regional/country technical issues, ensuring high availability and rapid remediation of service‑impacting events.
  • Establishes and governs standards for escalation, crisis management, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement.
  • Champions a culture of knowledge sharing, ensuring best practices and lessons learned are disseminated regionally.
  • Leads post‑incident review panels and process reform to ensure resilience and regulatory compliance.
Data Center Expansion Support:
  • Leads expansion initiatives including new region builds, site launches, and transformation programs; ensures delivery on time, budget, and to quality standards.
  • Serves as the primary senior executive liaison with cross‑regional portfolio leaders, engineering, and project management teams.
  • Establishes partnerships (internal and external) to maximize resources, develop talent pipelines, and promote Oracle’s reputation for world‑class data center operations.
Installation and Maintenance:
  • Oversees and integrates all facets of installation, maintenance, logistics, and inventory management across several regionally dispersed or complex data center portfolios.
  • Defines and enforces enterprise standards, setting expectations for efficiency, security, and scalability in procurement and lifecycle management of all hardware assets.
  • Approves and manages multi‑million dollar investments in upgrades, capacity expansion, and critical infrastructure improvements.
  • Directs operational audits and risk assessments to optimize deployment and maintenance strategies.

  • Provides strategic oversight on the management and execution of large‑scale projects or initiatives, monitoring timelines, deliverables, and budgets when applicable to ensure success. Sets strategies for appropriately delegating work, setting priorities, and aligning projects with business needs. Collaboration & Partnership:
  • Sets a strategic direction for collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment of expectations and strategic objectives. Drives a culture of teamwork, empowering teams to build and maintain partnerships with business leaders, stakeholders, and/or customers to contribute to organizational success. Promotes a culture of transparency and inclusivity where all voices are valued and respected.
Problem Solving:
  • Develops and implements strategies for specialized, advanced problem‑solving efforts across the organization, serving as an escalation point for highly complex operational and/or technical issues. Oversees teams leveraging innovative techniques to address significant ambiguous issues, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence, reviewing solutions as needed.
Continuous Learning:
  • Champions continuous learning to maintain cutting‑edge skills and influence organizational best practices. Inspires teams to build and maintain expertise in relevant areas by proactively monitoring emerging trends, technologies, and industry standards to help position the organization as an industry leader. Contributes to the organization’s strategy for learning and development, influencing leadership to foster learning opportunities for the team.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement that sets a standard for efficient and effective processes, protocols, and workflows across the organization. Oversees work to implement large‑scale approaches and methods for continued improvement, ensuring changes align with organizational goals. Sets the strategic direction, prioritizes, and approves the roadmap of improvement initiatives to maximize return on investments.
Performance and Development:
  • Drives and ensures consistent application of performance management strategies, systems, processes, and guidelines across the organization. Creates an organizational culture of career development that encourages proactively identifying and pursuing career development opportunities, and guiding leaders to support their team’s growth. Drives consistency in the application of talent development procedures and socializes performance expectations across the organization. Partners with HR and executive leadership to envision and execute a talent management strategy, balancing budget and talent resources.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $169,800 to $355,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
