The Senior Director, Operational Strategy & Enablement serves as the primary operational representative for supporting business development activities pre- and post-sale, and for ensuring that customer commitments align with operational capabilities, product direction, and organizational readiness. This leader partners closely with Operations, Business Development, Product, Training, Technology, and Implementation teams to support pursuit activities, develop operational responses to RFPs and proposals, coordinate customer-facing engagements requiring operational expertise, and drive comprehensive training strategies for new programs and platform capabilities.

This role serves as part of ConnectiveRx’s Launch Excellence team and is responsible for representing operationally executable solutions while ensuring teams are equipped to successfully deliver on commitments through scalable training, knowledge transfer, and change management processes. The position plays a critical role in improving sales-to-service transitions, enhancing implementation readiness, and driving alignment across commercial and operational functions. Success is measured through improved sales-to-service transition cycle time, implementation readiness, training adoption, and cross-functional stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Pursuit Support: Serves as the operational subject-matter expert supporting pre- and post-sale business development cycle; contributes to operational responses for RFPs and proposals, provides input to pricing and staffing models, and participates in client presentations and finalist meetings to represent operationally executable solutions.
  • Training Strategy, Knowledge Transfer & Change Management: Designs and drives comprehensive, scalable training strategies for new programs and latform capabilities; leads knowledge transfer and change-management processes to ensure teams are equipped to deliver on commitments.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partners with Operations, Business Development, Product, Training, Technology, and Implementation teams to align commercial and operational functions.
  • Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Advances Operational Excellence initiatives; develops and refines operating models, playbooks, and standard processes that improve launch quality, operational effectiveness, risk mitigation, and revenue optimization.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Interacts with senior leaders, executives, and other stakeholders to establish strategic plans and objectives; performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, patient services, or implementation within pharmaceutical hub services, patient support programs, or specialty pharmacy.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting RFPs, proposals, and sales cycles as an operational subject-matter expert.
  • Proven track record delivering complex program launches, transitions, and steady-state operations in a regulated healthcare environment.

Knowledge

  • Comprehensive knowledge of patient support program operations, including copay, patient assistance (PAP), adherence, benefits verification, and reimbursement/market-access workflows.
  • Knowledge of specialty pharmacy and distribution pathways, payer mix, and prior-authorization processes.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory parameters governing patient support programs in pharma.
  • Working knowledge of implementation, launch, and change-management methodologies.

Skills

  • Executive presence with the ability to influence without formal authority across a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to translate strategy into operational outcomes.
  • Excellent RFP/proposal writing, client-facing presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to design training and knowledge-transfer programs; Microsoft proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and project/collaboration tools.

Compensation & Benefits: This position offers opportunities for a bonus (or commissions), with total compensation varying based on factors such as location, relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.

Posted Salary Range
