Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, LLC is seeking a leader to oversee facilities, inventory control, and warehouse management systems in a large beverage distribution operation. You will coordinate multiple departments, review profitability data, and manage budgets to optimize performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with about 7 years of related experience, plus proficiency in ERP/CMMS software and SAP.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with various ERP, CMMS, software systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP system or similar system.

• Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
• Monitor warehouse performance and implement improvements.
• Manage the quality and quantity of employee productivity.
• Lead all building projects (i.e. warehouse systems, building/conveyor improvements)
• Provide MHE technical support and provide recommendations to maximize efficiencies
• Manage the maintenance of equipment and machinery
• Ensure safety compliance of all team members
• Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Overview

Responsible for providing leadership for facilities, inventory control, and warehouse management systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various departments in the organization
• Review financial statements and data and utilize data to improve profitability
• Prepare, control, and manage operational budgets
• Control total inventory management by ensuring the compliance of receiving and inventory control procedures; Develop/recommend alterations to procedures and best practices as warranted
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies and strong root cause analytical abilities

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
• Experience with various ERP, CMMS, software systems
• Valid state motor vehicle operators license and the ability to obtain and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws
• Experience in wholesale or operational management or other related industries
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP system or similar system

Physical Demands

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device
• Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
