Job Title: Senior Director, Offering Portfolio – Honeywell Fire

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Travel: 30-40%

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director to lead our Offering Portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and optimization of our UL Business (Under Writer Labs) portfolio of Fire products and services. This is a unique opportunity to keep Honeywell Fire a leader in early detection technologies, including Smoke Detectors, Fire Panels, and emergency Voice Evacuation System businesses. The person will have full accountability for the growth of the UL portfolio and increasing margin/revenue against market and competitors globally. The role will report to the President of the Fire business.

Ideal Candidate Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on portfolio management or leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Own the portfolio lifecycle aspects: Phase‑in, Phase‑out, EOL.
  • Co‑own Fire revenue and margin goals for the UL portfolio as part of the Fire Leadership Team.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Experience working in a global environment and collaborating with teams across different regions and cultures.
  • Define and prioritize market opportunities and customer needs.
  • Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Channel management.
Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for our offering portfolio, aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to retirement.
  • Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis.
  • Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, engineering, marketing, sales, and finance.
  • Go‑to‑Market Strategy: Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for new offerings and feature enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor key performance metrics for the portfolio, including revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction, and drive continuous optimization.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure all offerings comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, mitigating risks associated with the portfolio.
Qualifications / Must Have
  • Proven experience (typically 10 years) in product management and portfolio management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of developing and executing successful portfolio strategies.
  • Deep understanding and experience of the Fire and Life Safety Industry (15 years) and its market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Understanding of Fire industry building regulations and AOP achievement experience.
  • Experience running international teams and working in a global environment.
