Job summary

JPMorganChase in Jersey City is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering to lead multiple technical areas within the Consumer and Community Banking Data Products Team. You will guide complex programs, manage departments, and drive adoption of advanced data-driven methods.

You will collaborate with data architects, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions, align with corporate strategy, and mentor engineers and architects across platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience leading complex software projects and programs.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in Software Engineering, with a focus on leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations.
• Lead Data Product Development. Creation and implementation of a strategic roadmap for allocation transformation, ensuring alignment with the firm's long-term goals and objectives.
• Conduct thorough analysis of current allocation processes and identify areas for improvement and innovation.
• Drive the design and development of data products that enhance allocation processes and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data architects and analytics teams to build scalable and robust data solutions that support business needs.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify data needs and align data products to use cases
• Provides critical day-to-day leadership and strategic thinking, working with team of engineers and architects to align cross-functional initiatives, ensuring they are feasible both fiscally and technically.
• Identify opportunities to improve resiliency, availability, secure, high performing platforms in Public Cloud using JPMC best practices.
• Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience working at code level
• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence platforms.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards
