Department: Information Technology Job Description: The Sr. Director, Infrastructure leads the infrastructure function with accountability for platform ownership, reliability, and managed service governance across the enterprise. This role is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure platforms across a hybrid environment (AWS and Azure), including enterprise compute, network, identity, database, and shared services, with full lifecycle ownership from design through operations and continuous improvement. Govern all infrastructure managed service providers, including cloud, network, and patching services, ensuring SLA performance and accountability. Define provider scope, enforce service levels, and lead vendor performance reviews, escalations, and issue resolution. Serve as the escalation point for major platform incidents and cross‑domain issues. Enforce clear ownership and escalation paths for all infrastructure initiatives, whether project‑based or operational. Define and implement infrastructure strategy, standards, and roadmap across all infrastructure domains. Drive automation, infrastructure‑as‑code, and standardization to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Own and govern CI/CD pipelines and production deployment processes, ensuring reliable, repeatable, and controlled release execution across environments. Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies, manual processes, and fragmented ownership models. Own infrastructure cost visibility, capacity planning, and optimization across platforms. Manage cloud costs within approved budgets across AWS and Azure environments. Provide oversight of cloud consumption and cost drivers across AWS and Azure environments. Partner with Security, IT Operations, and Application teams to ensure platform stability, alignment, and effective execution. Provide operational input into architecture and design decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and supportability.

  • Ability to operate with urgency and decisiveness in high‑impact production environments.
  • Experience defining and enforcing platform standards and operating models across multiple infrastructure domains.
  • Experience building high‑performing engineering teams with clear ownership and execution discipline.
  • Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and automation.
