You will be responsible for managing AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters while ensuring system security and performance. The ideal candidate has significant experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and configurations management tools. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
  • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes.
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet or Ansible.
  • Experience with log monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.

Overview

Job role: Senior DevOps Engineer Location: United States (Remote in CA, CO, TX and VA only) Job description: In this role, you will work with a small team of engineers to build and maintain all aspects of Zumigo’s AWS cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Kubernetes cluster in an AWS Linux environment.
  • Keep Zumigo’s AWS-based production systems secure and running at peak performance.
  • Enhance Zumigo’s system monitoring solutions to detect service degradation and respond to incidents as needed.
  • Support the growing infrastructure needs of the development teams.
  • Manage the continuous Integration systems, source code repositories, and defect tracking tools.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with setting up and maintaining production AWS infrastructure supporting high-traffic volume.
  • 3+ years of expertise in a container-based Kubernetes cluster in an AWS Linux environment is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform is preferred.
  • Good Linux Administration and automation skills using BASH or Python.
  • Experience in configuration management using Puppet or Ansible.
  • Good knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, HTTPS, Proxy, DNS, VPNs, and using tools like TCPDump.
  • Good knowledge of Web security, including TLS/HTTPS, Certificate and key management, and firewalls.
  • Experience with databases like MongoDB.
  • Experience in Security and compliance.
  • Experience with Log monitoring and analysis tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana.
  • Experience with Nginx and Redis.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, Subversion, Git.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
