Ariel Partners in the United States seeks an experienced DevOps Architect to lead CI/CD, automation, and AWS GovCloud deployments, ensuring secure, scalable solutions across approximately 34 applications.

Responsibilities include strategy, architecture oversight, and deploying modern DevOps in a product-centric environment using TDD, SAFe, and containerization. Active Secret clearance, 10+ years, and a Bachelor/Master are required; CSP certifications are a plus. Equal Opportunity Employer.

• Must have Active Secret Clearance.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Experience defining Scrum Agile methodologies for large scale.
• Experience leading DevOps methodologies, implementing TDD, and driving automated SDLC.
• Experience with deployments in both premise and cloud environments.
• Experience as an engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment.
• Experience with DevOps services using IaaS providers (AWS, Azure, GCE).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., TFS, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, LVM).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., LXC, Docker, OpenShift).
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, SAST/DAST, Java/full-stack and SAFe.
• Bachelor or Master degree is required.
• CSP Certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure SA, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).

Project Overview

The DLA Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Development and Sustainment program supports modernization, enhancement, and sustainment of a mission-critical defense procurement and payment platform comprising approximately 34 applications.

The program focuses on enterprise software modernization, legacy-code refactoring, Agile/DevSecOps delivery, AWS GovCloud operations, CI/CD automation, cybersecurity, AI/ML integration, automated testing, and improved system performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Drives strategy, oversees architecture of continuous integration and deployment, and monitors across technologies.


• Defines Scrum Agile methodology for large scale clients.


• Serves as the engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment.


• Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience.


• Experience defining Scrum Agile methodologies for large scale


• Experience in leading DevOps methodologies, implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) Methodologies, and driving automated software development lifecycle


• Experience with deployments in both premise and cloud environments


• Experience as an engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment


• Experience with DevOps services using infrastructure as a service provider (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, RackSpace / OpenStack)


• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., TFS, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, LVM)


• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., LXC, Docker, Rocket, OpenShift)


• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, SAST/DAST, Java/full-stack and SAFe


• Bachelor or Master degree is required.


• CSP Certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure SA, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
