Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Java Engineer to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native microservices for the Connected Services platform. You will own the full software lifecycle from architecture through deployment, building robust APIs and event-driven systems for real-time device and data integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security patterns.
• Proficient with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
