Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a senior data integration engineer to deliver end-to-end data integration and analytics solutions using Informatica Cloud, scalable cloud data warehouses, and GenAI-enabled tooling.

You will design robust ETL workflows, optimize SQL, build dimensional models, and collaborate with product owners and analysts in a hybrid work environment to accelerate insights while ensuring data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Informatica Cloud development including mappings, tasks, and CLI usage.

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust ETL workflows using Informatica Cloud to integrate data from diverse operational systems into the cloud data warehouse ensuring accuracy consistency and timely availability of information for business stakeholders.

Develop and optimize reusable mappings tasks and parameterized jobs in Informatica Cloud CLI to support automated deployments scheduled runs and efficient maintenance of complex integration landscapes across environments.

Optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for cloud data warehouse platforms to improve query performance reduce compute consumption and ensure reliable support for analytics dashboards and reporting workloads.

Build and maintain scalable cloud data warehouse models including fact and dimension structures to support subject area data marts self service analytics and enterprise reporting with clear data lineage and traceability.

Apply GenAI basics responsibly to design accelerators such as code suggestions documentation helpers and data quality rule drafts while adhering to organizational guidelines for security ethics and compliance.

Collaborate with product owners data architects and analysts to understand functional and non functional requirements translate them into detailed technical designs and deliver iterative increments aligned with business priorities.

Conduct thorough unit testing integration testing and regression testing of ETL pipelines and SQL transformations to detect defects early safeguard data integrity and minimize production incidents in the day shift window.

Monitor daily data loads job schedules and system health dashboards to proactively identify bottlenecks or failures and implement corrective actions that sustain agreed service levels and business continuity.

Document integration flows technical design decisions configuration details and operational runbooks in a clear and maintainable manner to support knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members in the hybrid work model.

Provide guidance to peers and junior developers on best practices in Informatica Cloud ETL design patterns and SQL tuning while fostering a culture of quality accountability and continuous improvement within the team.

Engage in agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross functional team members to estimate effort plan sprints manage risks and ensure that increments delivered in each iteration generate measurable value for the organization.

Partner with security and compliance contacts to implement data protection standards including access controls masking strategies and logging mechanisms that safeguard sensitive information within cloud data platforms.

Continuously evaluate new capabilities in Informatica Cloud cloud data warehouse services and GenAI tooling to propose incremental enhancements that improve developer productivity system reliability and societal impact through better data driven decisions.

Qualifications

Showcase extensive experience in Informatica Cloud development including mappings tasks parameterization and Informatica Cloud CLI usage that collectively supports automated deployment and operational efficiency.

Demonstrate strong proficiency in ETL design data profiling data quality techniques and performance optimization for large volume datasets processed within cloud based integration ecosystems.

Exhibit advanced practical skills in SQL including complex joins window functions query optimization and debugging of performance issues on modern cloud data warehouse platforms.

Display proven experience working with at least one major cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake BigQuery or Amazon Redshift while implementing dimensional modeling and partitioning strategies.

Apply foundational understanding of GenAI basics to safely use generative tools for documentation assistance code review suggestions and pattern exploration in line with enterprise governance practices.

Bring seven to ten years of relevant industry experience in data engineering or integration development roles with a track record of delivering stable scalable and maintainable solutions.

Communicate effectively in hybrid settings using remote collaboration tools written documentation and structured meetings to coordinate work across onsite and offsite team members without travel requirements.

Certifications Required

Informatica Cloud Data and Application Integration Specialist or equivalent cloud data integration certification preferred.
