Job summary

Crocs, Inc. seeks a Senior Designer, Footwear - HYPE to shape the future of our brand-name products.

As a hands-on designer, you will craft consumer-centric, innovative footwear that resonates globally and across categories. You will lead projects from concept through execution, collaborate with internal teams, and travel domestically and internationally as needed, delivering design solutions with a strong Crocs point of view.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in industrial design or related field.
• 5-6 years of footwear or product design experience in molded, lifestyle, or technical segments.
• Strong understanding of footwear design from concept to production, including drawings and specs.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and apply judgment on design challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to design of innovative, consumer-centric footwear products across Crocs lines.
• Guide projects from concept through execution, including inspiration, materials, drawings and teardowns.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Category Management, Development) to bring concepts to life.
• Manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Provide design thinking, critique, and feedback to foster strong execution and brand alignment.

As a handson designer, you will help create consumercentric, innovative footwear that connects with consumers globally. What You'll Do

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of forwardthinking global consumers and how they connect to footwear, both culturally and functionally, within the Crocs brand.
• Lead and contribute to the design of innovative, consumercentric footwear products, pushing form, comfort, function, and selfexpression.
• Guide footwear design projects from concept through execution, including inspiration, form exploration, materials, technical drawings, specifications, and teardowns.
• Manage and prioritize multiple design projects simultaneously in a fastpaced, timesensitive environment, adapting to changing schedules while ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Partner closely with internal Category Management and Development teams, to bring footwear concepts to life from ideation through to commercialization, as well as navigating best in class relationship management with some of the most influential partners in the world.
• Leverage global marketplace insights, trend research and competitive awareness to evolve and energize the footwear business.
• Contribute creative leadership and constructive feedback, supporting strong design thinking, craft, and execution.
• Drive design solutions under the direction of design leadership, responding constructively to feedback while maintaining a strong, distinct point of view aligned with the Crocs brand.
• Explore new ways of thinking and solve design challenges through innovative and unexpected approaches.
• Inspire a culture of creativity, collaboration, inclusivity, and accountability across the product creation team.

What You'll Bring to the Table

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design, Footwear Design, Product Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-6 years of footwear or product design experience, preferably within molded, lifestyle, or technical footwear categories.
• Deep understanding of footwear design broadly, including graphic design, construction, materials, tooling, specifications, technical drawings, and prototype refinement.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and develop effective responses for unique process exceptions using experience and sound judgment.
• A professional, adaptable working style with strong ownership and follow-through in a collaborative, fastpaced environment.
• Expertise in footwear design tools including sketching, 2D and 3D form development, and advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator and Photoshop).
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly express design intent and influence crossfunctional partners.
• Comfort working across global teams and time zones with a cooperative, problem-solving approach.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Salary or Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
