The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Serve as administrative leader of the University of Rochester Medicine Firearm Injury Prevention Program (FIPP). Work collaboratively with the faculty leads of the program and the steering group to develop and advance strategic partnerships that support the mission of the program. Provide coordination, management and support for the program and related activities. Work directly with faculty leads, research and community partners to advance special projects. Collaborate across the medical center for overall program evaluation and effectiveness. Coordinate and manage ongoing and ad hoc special projects as assigned. Coordinate application process of identified grants, lead implementation. Carry out responsibilities with considerable latitude for independent judgment. Foster and enable a positive work environment by modeling the I CARE values. Support a culturally competent environment by treating patients/families, trainees, research subjects and co-workers in a sensitive and caring manner with appropriate attention to cultural differences.
