Axos Bank is seeking a SQL DBA with hands-on Databricks experience to support and optimize our enterprise data platform. The role emphasizes performance, scalability and reliability.

This onsite position is available in San Diego, Irvine, Los Angeles, Centennial, CO or Las Vegas, NV. Remote or hybrid work is not offered. Responsibilities include administering SQL Server databases, performance tuning, backups, data pipelines with Databricks, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Strong expertise in SQL performance tuning and database optimization.
• Automate Database server maintenance tasks through TSQL, PowerShell, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Experience with Spark (PySpark/Scala).
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud environments.

Target Range:

$120,000.00 /Yr. - $145,000.00 /Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 12.5%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 12.5%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.
