Administrative Shift (8:00AM – 5:00PM but can required support, first, second, third shift and weekend support during executions). The Data Scientist will lead projects with business partners across commercial, manufacturing, and data teams to develop analytical models and insights for the PR

Qualifications

• Experience delivering AI-enabled manufacturing or operations solutions.
• Hands-on experience building AI/ML models and deploying them.
• Strong collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ML, DL, Generative AI and LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead data science, ML, and AI capabilities across the commercial organization.
• Head projects in cross-functional teams to derive business value.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Identify business needs, perform SWOT, propose analytics approaches, obtain approvals, execute end-to-end.
• Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, and predictive models in Python.
• Work with SQL and other DB query languages.

Description

The Data Scientist will lead projects and collaborate with business partners including commercial insights teams, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, data teams, external vendor partners, service owners and IS partners to develop analytical models and insights across the PR Operations Organization to answer/solve specific business problems. This role will lead advanced analytics projects from the front and will be responsible for end-to-end execution. This role will innovate and create significant business impact through the strategic use of advanced analytics techniques.

Requirements

• Experience providing Manufacturing support (if vials filling, preferred).
• Experience deploying or integrating AI solutions into manufacturing or operational environments.
• Artificial intelligence, software development and computer literacy knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience developing AI/ML models for process or task optimization.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, or similar AI/ML frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis using JMP, or other statistical software
• Experience generating technical documentation, protocols, reports, and development records.
• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP), quality systems, and compliance requirements.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Quality and compliance-oriented mindset with attention to detail
• Computer literate with proficient use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and digital technologies.

Functions

• Leading, using and developing data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence capabilities across commercial organization.
• Leading the projects and be part of cross functional teams on projects and/or programs with aims to systematically derive insights that ultimately derive substantial business value.
• Taking the initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Identifying business needs, doing SWOT analysis, proposing potential analytical approaches for solutions, obtain approvals and the execute the work end to end.
• Building high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models and proof of concepts using Python.
• Working with SQL and other DB query languages.
• Leading, collaborating and communicating cross-functionally with stakeholders to develop appropriate methodology to answer specific business questions.
• Presenting analysis ideas, progress and results to business partners in clear and impactful manner.
• Creating powerful stories in PowerPoint. Well versed in MS Office suite specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Assuring compliance with regulatory, security, and privacy requirements as it relates to data assets.

Education

• Masters + 2 years of data science, business, statistics, data mining, applied mathematics, business analytics, engineering, computer science or related field experience OR Bachelors + 4 years of data science, business, statistics, data mining, applied mathematics, business analytics, engineering, computer science or related field experience
• Prefer Computer Engineering or Computer Sciences degree and special Courses or certificates in AI models
