Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to join the Corporate Engineering data analytics team.
You will develop and execute analytics strategy for Oshkosh products, applying machine learning to preventive maintenance and intelligent vehicle control across on- and off-road platforms. Responsibilities include performing analytics tasks, delivering results, and collaborating with data science, data engineering, software and other engineering groups.

The Sr. Data Scientist is a key member in data analytics team for Corporate Engineering. The candidate will work within advanced engineering groups and a cross-functional team to develop and execute the data analytics strategy and apply to Oshkosh products. Data analytics work encompasses the acquisition, processing and machine learning of engineering or service data and application to preventive maintenance and intelligent control of on or off-road vehicles.

Decision-Making: Regularly makes significant decisions and final results, typically affecting the entire department. Available guides or precedents are limited. Has authority over the allocation of resources. Decisions require considerable judgment, initiative and ingenuity in areas there is little precedent. Supervisory/Managerial: General instructing, scheduling, and reviewing the work of others performing the same or directly related work. Acts as "lead worker".

#LI-VR Pay Range: $91,500.00 - $148,100.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
