Job summary

Inceed, L.L.C. in Denver is seeking a Sr. Data Ops/Data Platform Administrator to own day-to-day health of a modern hybrid data environment. You will keep critical platforms stable, secure, and performant so the engineering team can focus on delivery.

You will tackle complex operational challenges, improve platform reliability, and collaborate with technical leadership, gaining high visibility and room to impact data pipelines with Denodo, Snowflake, and dbt Cloud.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Systems Administration, Database Administration, or DataOps.
• Strong Snowflake administration experience.
• Experience with SQL, Git, and DevOps concepts.
• Working knowledge of dbt Cloud, Airflow, and Fivetran.
• Experience supporting production incidents end to end.
• Comfort working in a hybrid data ecosystem.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Denodo and SQL Server environments.
• Monitor platform health across development, QA, and production.
• Tune caching and resources for improved query performance.
• Support Snowflake access, roles, warehouses, and security settings.
• Monitor cloud consumption and help manage cost controls.
• Support dbt Cloud, Airflow, and Fivetran operations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and escalation root causes.
• Maintain deployment guardrails, documentation, and procedures.
• Partner with engineers to keep environments stable and secure.

Compensation: $121,550 - $150,150 /hour, depending on experience

In this role, you’ll help keep critical platforms stable, secure, and performing at their best so the engineering team can stay focused on delivery. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Administer and maintain Denodo and SQL Server environments.
• Monitor platform health across development, QA, and production.
• Tune caching and resources for improved query performance.
• Support Snowflake access, roles, warehouses, and security settings.
