Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in a Data Engineering role designing and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, Matillion, Alteryx, and Tableau or equivalent ETL/RDBMS tools.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries, joins, and aggregations.
• Hands-on experience with data validation, quality, and cleansing procedures.
• Experience building dashboards/visualizations with Tableau.

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a contract position (4–6 months) to join a Data & Analytics team on a remote basis. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams to support and evolve the data platform and capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support data analytics and reporting needs.
• Utilize Snowflake to manage data warehousing, including data modeling, schema design, and optimization.
• Implement ETL processes using Matillion to integrate, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake.
• Write complex SQL queries for data retrieval, analysis, and reporting; optimize queries for performance and efficiency.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by developing and implementing data validation and cleansing procedures.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Investigate and resolve data issues, performance bottlenecks, and other technical challenges.
• Create and maintain documentation for data processes, workflows, and architecture.

Qualifications

• Required
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience (minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience with an Advanced Degree, or 6 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree).
  • 10+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role, with proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Proven experience with Snowflake, Matillion, Alteryx, and Tableau or relevant ETL and RDBMS technologies.
  • Strong SQL skills, including experience with complex queries, joins, and aggregations.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and best practices, with hands-on experience using Matillion or relevant tools.
  • Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data‑related issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

  • Knowledge of SAP S4 and SAP Business Data Cloud.
