As a Sr. Data Engineer supporting our insurance client through Primasoft US in Hartford, Connecticut, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of cloud data architecture, pipeline automation, database performance tuning, and distributed systems integration. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Python, architecting and managing scalable AWS data services and cloud infrastructure, writing and automating infrastructure provisioning workflows utilizing Terraform, building and consuming secure REST APIs for seamless system interoperability, managing complex relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL) for enterprise workloads, optimizing distributed systems for large-scale data processing, collaborating with cross-functional software engineering, analytics, and security squads, conducting root-cause analysis for production data issues, ensuring strict compliance with enterprise security and governance standards, and operating under a hybrid work model requiring 3 days onsite per week in Hartford. Key Responsibilities
