Job summary

Connection is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead data and application integration work across multiple database platforms. This onsite role in Merrimack, NH, will design, develop, test, deploy, and support data integration and migration solutions while providing technical leadership, mentoring, and on-call production support.

You will collaborate with business lines, analysts, and project managers to build robust ETL/ELT pipelines and optimize data architectures using SQL Server, Oracle,

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of SQL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle relational database systems, plus cloud data solutions such as Databricks.
• Strong working knowledge of source control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
• Strong knowledge of multiple data integration tools including SSIS, Databricks Transformation capabilities, and replication engines.
• Strong knowledge of application development principles and techniques, including system integration and software dependencies.
• Strong knowledge of logical and physical database design concepts.
• Basic working knowledge of Business Intelligence applications such as Microsoft Power BI.
• Ability to analyze functional requirements and data to design and build technical solutions.
• Ability to establish development estimates and meet target dates for large projects.
• Experience conducting knowledge transfer sessions and technical walk-throughs.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and standards, with effective verbal and written communication.
• Flexibility to manage multiple projects concurrently and interface with business partners and co-workers.
