Job summary

Peraton is seeking a senior technical leader to serve as the authority for a defined DCCE domain in support of VA data center modernization. You will drive roadmaps, set standards, and present strategy to senior VA leadership while mentoring engineers to raise technical maturity.

The role is based in Austin, TX, with a focus on critical facilities, resiliency, and portfolio modernization; prior public trust clearance and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Tools: Data center monitoring and management tools including Nlyte Asset Optimizer / Energy Optimizer (DCIM), ServiceNow (ITSM/CMDB), SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, PuTTY, Wireshark, PowerShell, Python, Power BI, MS Visio, and SharePoint. plus AutoCAD, TileFlow familiarity.
• Processes: ITIL v4 service management, SAFe Agile / Scrum for iterative delivery, NIST 800-53 / RMF, ISO 27001, TIA-942, ASHRAE TC 9.9, VA CRISP alignment, NFPA 70/70E, and OSHA safety practices.; TIA-942, VA Handbook 7002.
• Certifications (desirable): PE (Electrical or Mechanical), BICSI RCDD, Uptime Institute ATD/ATS, EPI CDCP/CDCS/CDCE, LEED AP, CEM., ITIL v4 Foundation (Practitioner/Managing Professional a plus), SAFe Practitioner or SAFe DevOps.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
