First American is seeking a data and business analyst to evaluate data trends, map data flows, and support mortgage servicing processes. You’ll collaborate with data technicians, clients and offshore teams to ensure data integrity and drive improvements.
The role requires 5–7 years of experience in data and business analysis, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Responsible for the processing of inbound flow & bulk data files, involving the mapping of loan data received from new and existing mortgage clients and migrating data into servicing systems. Performs extracting, importing, and exporting of data in various database applications. Maintains data integrity by analyzing field specific formats and layout, tracking, and maintaining data discrepancies, reporting trends to identify data anomalies. Acts as point of contact for all clients, internal lines of business, and servicers in relation to the loan boarding process. Works closely with data technician consultants updating mapping, building tables and auditing data fields for formatting and implementation. Creates, maintains, and distributes trial balance workbooks and conversion balancing templates.

Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $113,300.00 Annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
