Job summary

AYM Alliance is seeking a Senior Data Architect in South Ventura County, CA to build and optimize data solutions for executive decision-making. The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to define reporting needs, ensure data accuracy, and strengthen the data environment.

It is an onsite position with a 4/10 schedule (Mon-Thu, 6am–4:30pm). The candidate will design BI dashboards, integrate data from ERP/CRM, and maintain data architecture while addressing regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain executive dashboards using Power Platform or similar tools.
• Create and support reports from ERP, CRM, and operational systems.
• Meet with stakeholders to define reporting and data needs.
• Produce monthly insights and tell the story behind the numbers.
• Document architecture and data flows; align data with the data warehouse for analytics.
• Identify data issues and propose fixes; support ongoing maintenance and regulatory needs.

Sr. Data Architect

South Ventura County, CA

Onsite, Mon to Thurs (4/10 Schedule), 6am to 4:30pm

$90,000 to $155,000 Annual Salary

AYM Alliance has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Data Architect in South Ventura County.

About the Opportunity

A leading aerospace and defense manufacturer is seeking a Sr. Data Architect to build and support the data solutions that drive business decisions. You will partner with teams across the company to understand the reporting and analytics they need, and make sure the data behind them is accurate and reliable.

You will also evaluate the current data environment and recommend ways to strengthen it.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain executive dashboards using Microsoft Power Platform or comparable tools.
• Create and support business reports that pull from ERP, CRM, and operational systems.
• Meet with stakeholders to define their reporting and data needs.
• Produce monthly insights and help management tell the story behind the numbers.
• Walk stakeholders through dashboards and analysis results.
• Assess the current data architecture and suggest improvements.Align core business system data with the data warehouse for analytics.
• Trace the source of recurring data issues and recommend fixes.
• Document architecture and data flows.
• Support ongoing maintenance and regulatory needs of data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience designing and implementing business intelligence and data warehouse environments.
• Familiarity with cloud data architecture best practices.
• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL, and tools such as Power BI, Oracle, and MS SQL.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Teams, and SharePoint 365.
• Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• SQL and Oracle EBS
• Working knowledge of CMMC and NIST 800-171
