As a Sr Data Analyst on our Sellers team, you will help set the measurement standard for a live product line at News Corp. This role combines end-to-end KPI and dashboard instrumentation with advanced analysis, so you can turn marketplace and product engagement data into executive-ready insights that drive measurable seller-focused outcomes. You will collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales while building trust in analytics across teams and product experiences.
What you’ll do
- Own the full measurement framework for a live product line, including KPIs, dashboards, and instrumentation, not just isolated analysis.
- Drive solutions to complex marketplace problems, including pricing and packaging optimization and causal inference for interventions where standard A/B test assumptions may not hold.
- Provide strategic executive visibility by partnering with Product, Marketing, and Sales to inform commercial decisions and measure product impact.
- Lead business performance reporting, visualization, and analysis to help stakeholders understand performance and determine whether to improve results or double down on what’s working.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis using advanced methods (A/B experimentation, statistical modeling, matched pair, and/or machine learning) to understand how people interact with product features and translate findings into recommendations.
- Forecast and size opportunities by evaluating short-run and long-run dynamics of proposed changes, setting targets for business performance, and optimizing lead generation and funnel improvement.
- Build and strengthen analytics capabilities by working with other data teams to improve data architecture, data visualization, data modeling, and testing platforms.
- Support adoption of analytics tooling by ensuring seller customer interactions are included in the build out of Amplitude, advocating for adoption, and building trust through consistent analytics delivery.
- Improve seller-focused customer outcomes by understanding drivers of Net Promoter Score (NPS) and identifying actionable paths for product and customer care improvements.
- Produce insights across the analytics lifecycle from analytic plan creation through end-of-analysis summaries, including quantitative analysis, ad hoc reporting, and statistical models covering engagement and funnel conversion metrics.
What we’re looking for

- 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with 3+ years of experience.

- Experience with cloud data environments such as AWS and Snowflake.
- Advanced technical and modeling skills, including Excel or Google Sheets (for example: pivot, vlookup) and data analytics.
- Understanding of experimentation and statistics concepts (confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, etc.).
- Ability to think strategically about product performance drivers and interpret conversion funnels with identified fallout points.
- Strong communication skills, including written and verbal presentation experience with diverse audiences.
