What you’ll do

The Senior Data Analyst serves as a trusted partner to Mortgage Partnership Finance (MPF) leadership by transforming complex mortgage and business data into actionable insights. This role supports strategic decision-making through in-depth portfolio analysis, risk monitoring, performance measurement, forecasting, and data-driven recommendations that enhance the effectiveness of the Bank's national whole loan mortgage purchase program.

How you'll make an impact

Identify emerging trends, portfolio risks, and business opportunities through advanced analysis of mortgage performance and operational data, enabling proactive management of the MPF program.

Develop scalable analytical solutions, dashboards, and performance measurement frameworks that support strategic decision-making by senior management and external stakeholders.

Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that improve portfolio performance, strengthen risk oversight, and enhance business outcomes.

What you can expect

Lead the development of portfolio monitoring frameworks and perform advanced analyses to assess volume, credit performance, operational effectiveness, loan quality, and emerging risks across the MPF portfolio.

Analyze large, complex mortgage, financial, and operational datasets to identify trends, evaluate portfolio performance, assess risk exposures, and support strategic initiatives.

Conduct ad hoc and exploratory analyses to address evolving business questions and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.

Design and maintain executive-level dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations that communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and compelling manner.

Develop reporting solutions that provide timely visibility into portfolio performance, operational metrics, PFI activity, and key risk indicators.

Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, translating technical results into business insights.

Data Management & Automation

Extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to support business and regulatory reporting.

Establish and maintain data quality standards, validation controls, and governance practices to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of analytical outputs.

Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, advanced analytics, and automation to improve business processes and decision support capabilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk, Finance, Business Intelligence, Data Management, Member Services, and Mortgage Operations to address business needs and improve processes.

Foster a collaborative, data-driven culture by sharing knowledge, and promoting analytical best practices to junior analysts and interns.

Stay current on mortgage industry developments, housing finance trends, regulatory changes, analytical methodologies, and emerging technologies.

What you'll bring
