Comcast is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst, Business Intelligence to translate analytics needs into technical requirements and deliver forecasting, insights, and dashboards.

The role partners with business leaders to define data requirements, analyzes large data sets across multiple platforms, and builds forecasting models. It requires strong SQL and BigQuery skills, plus excellent data visualization and presentation abilities.

Qualifications

5–7 years of relevant work experience.
Data analysis and actionable insights experience.
Data visualization and presentation skills.
SQL skills and experience with database querying.
Knowledge of Google BigQuery.

Responsabilités

Assess data sources and identify alternatives to meet stakeholder needs.
Analyze large datasets to produce actionable insights using self-service tools.
Query across Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop and AWS.

Present findings to executives with clear visuals and narratives.
Create and maintain dashboards and reports aligned to stakeholders.

Comcast is hiring a Sr. Data Analyst, Business Intelligence to turn business analytics needs into technical requirements and deliver forecasting, insights, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Assess data relevance and identify alternative data sources to complete stakeholder analytics requests
Analyze large, complex datasets to produce actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools
Query and work with disparate big data platforms including Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS
Combine data from multiple sources to support end-to-end analysis
Find key business drivers through exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing
Build forecasting models to predict sales, demand, and other key business metrics
Evaluate performance of campaigns, offers, or initiatives to measure effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
Present findings clearly through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to Company executives and decisionmakers
Create and maintain internal dashboards and reports aligned to stakeholder requirements
Create, develop, and maintain external customer reports and dashboards
Promote a culture centered on data-driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork
Stay current on emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning and apply them to business challenges
Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; able to work nights and weekends with variable schedules as necessary
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
