Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Contract Performance Manager to oversee outages, parts and repairs, ensuring safe, reliable operation of customer power assets. You will own the CSA, drive proactive risk mitigation, and partner with site teams to deliver value and satisfaction.

Travel to Alabama sites is frequent, and you’ll champion continuous improvement, manage invoicing and cash collection, and contribute to profitable growth while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University, or Associate’s degree with 7 years in power generation.
  • Minimum 5 years of Technical Field in Heavy Duty Gas Turbine and/or Steam Power.

Responsibilities

  • Lead outages, parts, and repairs from planning to risk mitigation.
  • Own the Contractual Service Agreement and ensure safe, on-time maintenance.
  • Serve as technical advisor to site teams and drive responsiveness.

Own the outcome. As a Contract Performance Manager, you are the single point of contact responsible for the technical and operational success of our customer’s power generation assets and the financial performance of the contract. This role bridges the gaps between outage planning & execution, technical leadership, contract management, commercial strategy, and customer satisfaction; with the north star being safe, predictable and reliable operation of our customer’s assets. This role will grow your operational, technical, commercial and customer service skills.

Job Description

What You’ll Own

Asset Performance: Lead the full lifecycle of outages, parts, and repairs—from planning and scheduling to proactive risk mitigation.

Operational Execution: Be the primary owner of the Contractual Service Agreement (CSA). Your goal is zero-harm, high-quality, on-time maintenance that ensure maximum reliability, availability and performance. Lead all site actives and prioritize with SQDC mindset.

Customer Partnership: Serve as the trusted technical advisor to the customer’s site teams, translating complex operational challenges into clear, actionable solutions; be the conduit into GE Vernova Gas Services functions and resource pools to drive responsiveness, issue resolution and customer satisfaction.

Strategic Improvement: You aren't just following a playbook; you are writing it. Identify waste, inefficiencies and champion continuous improvement projects that drive efficiency, customer satisfaction and profitability.

Commercial Accountability: Take ownership of the contract’s bottom line, including invoicing, cash collection, and driving long-term profitable growth.

What you’ll bring: (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University (OR anAssociate'sdegree from a college or a High School Diploma / GED and 7 years of experience in a power generation industry)
  • Minimum of 5 years of Technical Field with Heavy Duty Gas Turbine/and or Steam Power experience

#LI-Remote - This is a remote positionFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $119,600.00 and $199,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
